Colman, this slid under the radar- sorry. I've recently listened to and loved The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, Killing Time by Alan Bennett and Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton. Three very different listens. If you fancy a bit of Dickens, Rory Kinnear reads The Pickwick Papers brilliantly.

Taking forever - he still bolts at any sudden move. If he needs the vet I have to put food into a big carrier and wait till he's hungry enough to go in for it, and close him in fast.

We have - he came with Freddie, the kittenland Mama. I put them both in a cat sanctuary after all the kittens went to new homes but reclaimed them 6 months later, felt guilty for having abandoned them! He's sweet but very, very timid. He and Paddy hang out. Charlie's not keen, George is impervious!

Billy came with Freddie, who had all the kittens. He may be the father. He's afraid of everything - took him ages to let me near. Still jumps at any noise, won't let me pick him up, craves affection but scared to accept more than a brief head rub. Poor little thing.
