Of all Trump's 'peace deals', the one I find most problematic (aren't they all?) is the proposal to give away someone else's sovereign territory, with out consultation, to an aggressor, in exchange for potential oil and mineral rights.

Is it true, eg, that if US courts didn't offer plea-bargaining, unique to US, then courts would be so overwhelmed that they would become dysfunctional? And that means that poor people who can't afford a lawyer go to jail, and rich people get lesser sentences?
