In those cases I cut store bought puff pastry into rectangles with a smaller rectangle scored, then throw the fruit with cream cheese and honey and bake it for lazy tart things

The secret to green bean casserole is to use exactly the canned ingredients - fresh is a mistake - and put in an entire teaspoon of black pepper instead of the 1/8 the recipe calls for (you must trust me on this, it WILL look like too much). (If that doesn't work, the dish is just not for you)

I have finally figured out garneting! Which is when you take the little bits of yarn left over after your projects are done, fluff those bits up, add a little bit of fresher fiber, and then spin the whole thing into new yarn. It's pretty slow AND also you get to use all the tiny bits of yarn!
