Blue Jays have defeated the Yankees in four games.

Friday night’s ALDS Game 5 between the Mariners and Tigers will now be a 5:08 p.m. PT first pitch.

I need the Mariners to win on Friday, not only for my own obvious, personal reasons, but also because M’s/Blue Jays is the ALCS everyone deserves.

Who do we think starts on Friday for the Mariners?

Mariners fall, 9-3. Game 5 on Friday at T-Mobile Park.

Maybe so, but having one competent lefty is way too easy to manage against. Also doesn’t help matters that the Tigers are seeing the same two relievers over and over again. They have nowhere else to turn at all if either of those two don’t have it.

They needed to add to this bullpen and they really didn’t. Caleb Ferguson was never enough. I will go to my grave believing that.

I repeat, Josh Naylor belongs with the Mariners.

J.P. Crawford pops out to end the inning. Mariners avoid the NOBLETIGER and tack on a run, but probably hoped to add more. 2-0, midway thru four.
