This is very well-written and well-observed. As a general software guy it really jives with my experience there too, minus the “creative” stuff. You’re 100% correct on Agile.

Also I think footnotes 4 and 6 are switched?

Just finished it. Found it after reading your knowledge games article. It was very good! First IF game I've played in probably over a decade? People saying it was easy-ish is mind-boggling to me. I had to learn a new note taking up just to keep track of things and still used hints a bunch!

Sure, it goes both ways. The thing Celsius has going for it is that when doing science or engineering, your units aren’t completely divorced from your day to day experience. Otherwise they are both utterly arbitrary outside of that context.
