I hate the day after Thanksgiving going into work and fielding "how was your holiday?" Fine. "What did you do?" Nothing. "Did you eat any" Nope. I don't get invites to things because I'm the last person on everyone's mind to even check on, and when I invite people they would rather be anywhere else.
