My dad passed last September (2024) and my mom in January. They would have been crushed to see what happened to this country. I miss them terribly, but am glad they are not spending their final years watching the fascism they and their parents fought against come to the USA.

This will be interesting, as I’d heard that was what they’d do with Gaetz if he wasn’t confirmed. I guess they think he will get through.
