i feel like i should maybe stop following The Onion for a while because it's so hard to tell what's parody and what's reality lately. (and i never was that good at telling if people were joking anyway)

13 years from today the 2038 bug should be the biggest worry but today... not so much.

was thinking of reaching out to my friends today as i was feeling so low about lots of things when it dawned on me that i'm better off than most of them. :-/
doesn't seem right to bring them down with my junk.
so from now on i shall remind myself (put it on my calendar) "I am better off than most".
