Last week, I bought a second-hand Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass and I've loved playing it since it arrived. I'm heading back into the studio with some pals and I'm looking forward to hearing how it performs. /end

Once that was sold I effectively retired from annoying Glasgow with my bass sounds. But I acquired a 1971 Ibanez #1912 from @fraserc69.bsky.social for a few gigs and it has served me well ever since.

My work's insurance policy meant that I received more cash than the Hohner was probably (definitely) worth and, with it, I bought an Epiphone Thunderbird. The sexiest bass there has ever been.
