Sorry for the lack of updates on my current art project. Started eating gluten again 2 weeks ago and have been feeling extremely tired and weak since among some other symptoms😅. Will be taking a blood test very soon to test for celiac disease.

Now applying the second layer. This time a mixture of extreme glitter mod podge mixed with smaller salt particles (it will dry transparant btw). I'll maybe make a video explaining how you can do this yourself at home😁🙌.

Currently adding the first layer of the sea salt and mod podge mixture to make the blanket look crystallized🙌. Patience is key in this, because I have to do the whole thing in sections based on the angle of the surface.

My current obsession with blue started with Yves Klein. I see blue as a very emotional color and It will be a very important color in this current project that I'm working on🙌.

Update: attached some slats around the wooden base to frame the art piece and covered the rest of the wooden base with some more fabric submerged in cement🙌. Next step will be painting.

Update: Submerged some fabric in cement and draped it over the dummy. After it hardened I applied another layer of thin-set for extra strength. I will also cover the rest of the frame like this. Stay tuned🙌.

And for the lighter parts of the cloud I lightly sprayed this lighter blue from the same brand, Amsterdam spray paint in the color Brilliant Blue (564). This together with the ultramarine (504) gives you this gorgeous effect.

For the people dm'ing me asking what blue I used for the background. I used Amsterdam spray paint in Ultramarine (504). I love it, because it has a water-based, solvent-free formula, so it's safe for indoor use😍.
