I have one of these stored in my basement - for a reason. It's one of the last units made that will copy Macrovision 'copy protected' VHS tapes. Send me the tapes and I'll burn copies to DVD 24x7.

There will not be a Wile E. Coyote moment until speculators care about valuations (and traditional metrics). As long as they're trading based only on the price direction of a ticker symbol, gravity will continue to be defied.

Keeping a drawer full of flash drives from previous IT jobs, particularly shady ones, is always a good idea for insurance or leverage. You just never know when you'll need them.
