Conflicted about it to an extent but somebody in high office needed to come out and say it as it is, is there any single word you can argue with? The media including the BBC continues to sanewash him, viz the odious Zeffman this morning...this is the kind of language needed.

on away fans based on previous history of disorder and/or anti-social behaviour is accepted on that basis alone....and MTA had a list as long as your arm so why would they need to invoke possible protest to justify the ban?

This imo is utterly disingenuous, why should there have been focus or emphasis on the "concerns re protest and broader disorder"? In every other similar instance I've come across in over 40 years as a football supporter and having a keen interest in supporter activity/representation etc any ban

I agree both things can be true at the same time but I still maintain the whole framing of this right up to the farce of a select committee was not and would not have been any different and that is the worrying thing for me.

Not mentioned or acknowledged at any point throughout this by those high ranking politicians or the media who have come out in full throated defence of the MTA fans.....not once, that in itself should prompt serious questions about how in thrall we are to Israel let alone the compromised select ctee

It's like i'm living in a fucking parallel universe, the narrative arc from the media and most politicians post their Amsterdam two day rampage is genuinely unhinged and has just got more and more surreal....it would be laughable if it wasn't so serious that we're in a chokehold to Zionism.

It certainly is, almost as alarming as half of that kangaroo court of a select committee questioning him on why the racist thug fans of MTA were banned from Villa Park having to declare interest/donations/travel to Israel.......we all know which one got the most publicity though.
