What I see is the death throes of the republican party. Holding the line means vote democrat and don't stay home on election day like so many did last time.

I agree. I would add that some of us on the left are self-suppressing, and helping suppress others on the left with all this Chicken Little stuff like "They're not going to let us vote", etc. Well we HAVE been voting in special elections, vacated seats, etc. for the past year. Plan on voting.
