I remember going to my best friend's for dinner in the 10th grade and the next day in school she told me her dad asked cautiously, "Is Rook your best friend?" "Yeah?"..."Is her hair... PURPLE?" XD

It's a lot more popular now, but I used to do a friend's Mohawk that eerily luminous highlighter yellow about 20 years back. There's even some that glows under black light. Me, I've never worn any shade of yellow. Just don't dig it

And if course, highlighter hair has been my look almost full time these 35 years

I kind of love how embracing of unpredictable styles the youngs are. Way wider spectrum of looks with less mockery from the plebes

Sorry man, not gonna diss hairstyles as they trend. I don't like 'em all, but fashion cycles and so does pushing limits. Ex, the modern wolf cut style is essentially a mullet, but quite attractive. I still shave my full head to the same height as my front hairline but I like to watch styles
