Me friend contested the ticket. Deputy failed to appear in traffic court. Ticket was dismissed.

A guy I was riding with in Idaho got a ticket for that. Driver swerved around him on a blind curve. Driver nearly hit Sheriff Deputy car head on. Deputy pulled over driver who said the bike rider was at fault. Deputy then pulled over my friend and wrote him up.
