Not surprisingly but still unfortunately, the McNair program is under attack.
I was not a beneficiary of the program but have participated in it as a mentor and speaker, and I have seen how it positively impacts the lives of its students.

Also…I’m officially 8-10 letters deep in “professional” degrees & licenses [as of last week].
…with the student loans & big words with copywrites to prove it…

Thank goodness: after an outpouring of public dissent, Lackland reversed its terrible decision and will thankfully be teaching recruits about the Tuskegee airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots again. A reminder that we must always push back: www.expressnews.com/news/article...
