It depends how patient you are! Type Help is an awesome game, but I hope the remaster is the definitive version when it’s released next year.

It's almost ready now! Just finishing up the translation and shouldn't be too long. We also have Spanish and German in beta and I hope to release all at once.

I've never played that one, but also seeking out the rights to Infocom games sounds a lot harder than partnering with small awesome devs from itch :)

French is almost complete. We have Spanish and German in beta testing now too. We hope to launch all three at the same time.

There's something very weird hidden in The Roottrees are Dead that nobody's found yet!
To all of our internet detectives and spider searchers,

How would you feel if I told you that there's something very weird hiding in this game? It's not like anything else in Roottrees. But that's because it was built as an homage to a different game series, after Eviltrout and I had discussions with one of their developers early in the production of Roottrees. I must warn you. This one's kind of... different.

Reaching the end of this search will take larger leaps of logic and outside the box thinking than anything else you're asked to do in game. In all honestly, it's the type of puzzle that admittedly won't be for some of you. When it's all over, you might read about how it was solved and think "How was anyone ever expected to find that?" And the answer is that we actually weren't expecting anyone to, really.
Over the years I've always loved reading articles, or seeing videos about games/movies/books from my past still revealing their secrets years later. Part of the appeal of hiding something like this, to me anyways, was the thought that "What if on the one year, five year, or even ten year anniversary I could announce there's something hidden in the game that nobody had ever found?" But more recently we've thought... why not give our community a chance while we have a ton of people still engaged in our discord (Who even knows if discord will exist in ten years)

Collectively, if you contribute to solving the puzzle, you can be part of something pretty special to us. Some of the information we hid a while back is about to become public. And so knowing that we were about to tell our community about the existence of this puzzle we've also adjusted the final "reward" to include a juicy new piece of information that (whoever finds first) can share in this discord. Meaning if you do reach the end of the journey... maybe you can help us with a major announcement.

Knowing this treasure hunt exists might simply be enough of a hint for all of you get this whole thing…
