PEAS is pretty clear at least. Although you think it's a can of peas and United Kingdom 50/50 split

Got nothing. But I would say there is probably some good ideas in BBC's Wild Isles that I've just totally forgotten

Wild Isles - Series 1: 1. Our Precious Isles
David Attenborough celebrates the rich variety of habitats in our wild isles, the existence of which is critical for the survival of species right across the globe.

Is 'Singin in the Rain' both metaphorical and literal? I kind of think of it that way because of the film, but... And what does 'about' mean? Rain features very strongly in that song, with the onomatopoeia right from the start.

I think you could say it's about rain amongst other things.

Isn't it just a more poetic "look at all these men!"

'Eskimo Lament' by the Coral I think the lines about rain are actually about it raining. Thought of one.

Is 'Naked in the Rain' the only song we should literally about rain? 🤔

I would say the 1st song that came to mind is 'I'm only happy when it rains' which isn't really about rain. And then 'Why does it always rain on me', which also isn't really about rain.

It's a long time since I heard or thought of Blue Pearl's Naked in the Rain. I'm quite surprised not to hear that one in the gym occasionally (tuned to Capital Dance)

Can we get a handle for that?

Sunday morning the Panorama 'scandal' was the top story on radio 5. Followed by Remembrance, a murder, and a hurricane in the Philippines. I thought maybe they had done it in reverse order by mistake.
And then there were the resignations proving in a curious way that actually it was the main story.

Concerned that people may not realise this is ACTUAL DIALOGUE that took place in court. Although I guess it's a bit like a court sketch in some ways. And sketch is about right

Also not against on principal, but skeptical before this. I know of systems where you can't request an appointment unless it is in office hours. Which does seem to kind of run counter to the underlying philosophy.

I would like to tell them about it. But of course there is no way to do that other than going in there or waiting on the phone for an age.
