Exactly! Nintendo had a Selects line page on the 3DS, and I think they did on the Wii U as well. It was the same price there as it was physically.

Too often, we're waiting longer to see if these games ever get a discount. Especially in the case of first-party Nintendo titles, and even then, it's a small, limited-time discount. Many games stay at full price, unless during a limited-time sale.

I kinda wish they'd bring back the Selects/Player's Choice discount line. Back in the 3DS/Wii U era, and even before that, it was nice to have some big hits permanently on sale. Particularly during the holiday season.
