It's always amazed me how Americans don't feel that carpenters, plumbers, accountants, doctors, nurses, shop workers, farmers etc provide a service to their country

Russia isnt particularly religious. They have big religious festivals, but that's more of a tradition than religious fervour

You could delete the apps, but no need, they're there if you need them. Motion smoothing is for fast sports and gaming, it fills in frames that would otherwise be a miniscule blur. The problem is, it makes everything too real, makes films look like they're on a film set

I boxed (amateur) when I was young and the biggest lesson you get is to have both feet planted when you punch, and put your whole body into it. Weird to see these sculpted guys jumping in the air and punching! (For reference, I'm 65)

Well, now that a lot of the foreign farm workers have been barred/deported, why doesn't he get a job in the fields? 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, but at least it's only one job. Or is he after something more suited to his lack of skills?

Admittedly, the puritans who left Britain and the Netherlands were racist and religiously intolerant; but, that's why they left. They railed against the tolerant practise of religion in their own countries and wanted to create one in their image.

We have to assume that the 33% or so who didn't vote, didn't care if Trump won. They are still culpable. That means 65 - 70% of US adults were OK with, or keen on, Trump getting another 4 years. Pretty damning

I'm guessing this is satire? The US government now does what it wants, it is not held back by decency or morals, any attempt to prosecute government/military officials will be shut down by the government.
