the treatment of the course instructors has been awful. this is a resource that should be celebrated for an industry that often doesn't share their practices.

catching up with the news RE CGMA - this is an absolute travesty.

me taking a course on CGMA allowed me to really hone what had been a hobby and turn it into a craft that got me a job.

despite nearly being in the industry for 5 years, today I had one of those 'oh shit, what on earth am I doing?' moments where I've completely forgotten how to do anything 3D.

tomorrow is always a new day, and another chance to be a bit more confident.

silksong finally being given a release date is quite surreal. for six years since it's announcement it was the game I mentioned in every interview I was looking forward to. it followed me into my first and then second videogame job, and now I'm closing in on 5 years working in industry.

Few hours into Clair Obscur now, but I can confidently say this is quite an astonishing game.

From the plot, to the gorgeous graphics and music, to the fun turn based gameplay and references to French art history.

For someone who grew up on Final Fantasy, this game is an absolute achievement. ✨

Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom might be my favourite open world game ever.

I love just dipping in and looking around at wee props and environments every so often to feel a little inspired.

I know it has been done to death, but I'd take a third game/farming sim in that world.

my mam found my old PS2. it still powers on and unbelievably had Final Fantasy X inside of it!

that disk has probably been in there for 20 years!
