Right. This outcome was obvious as far back as Casey, maybe further. The decision not to act over the last *30-40 years* is inexcusable and absolutely the Dems' fault.

Republicans are what they are - I expect them to do those things. Of course I blame them for their actions, but what the fuck is the point of talking about it? They're not making mistakes, they're doing exactly what they set out to do. Dems are supposed to counter them. This isn't hard to understand

Also, "but SCOTUS will overturn it" or "the GOP will never let it happen" is not an excuse not to try. That attitude is self-defeating and a huge part of why ostensible dem voters hate the fucking party right now. You still have to go for it!
