Most vaccines don’t trigger mucosal IgA—a key airway defense

Clever new Nat Comm study from 🇳🇴 solves that by fusing antigens to albumin, which uses FcRn pathway to cross the nasal barrier

Result: a potent intranasal vaccine that protects vs. both flu and SARS-CoV-2

Chilling to see this list of terminated NIH grants. Research on Alzheimer's, HIV, rare diseases, vaccines -- gone. Cancer centers closed, training grants & fellowships terminated. Young scientists stranded. Patients waiting for treatments that'll never come. Just sad.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

"Thank you for saying it was a 'you' problem during the exam, it made me less self-conscious." Reminder that if you're having trouble finding the correct muscle or getting close to motor units, it's better to be honest, say "this is a 'me' problem," & re-configure than cause unnecessary discomfort!
