Hope is a choice to notice, to appreciate, and hold fast to ideals that matter.

Let’s remind each other that we want to choose hope when we forget; when it’s hard. Just as others have shown me, it can make all the difference in an era glaring with reasons to despair.

Just listened to @wordbobby.bsky.social on @gregolear.bsky.social ‘s podcast Prevail and I was captivated. Such an important story showing how Florida is casting a very long shadow on today’s politics.

We we prevail? Yes, hope is justified, but we must show up.

i agree with @ariellaelm.bsky.social , @rokhanna.bsky.social Public shaming and humiliation turns engagement off, disincentivizes people from defecting tge GOP to join us, and is a huge deterrent for anyone who might be willing to run for something.

When you see how excited Trump, Russ Vought, and Republicans are about the government shutdown, it becomes pretty obvious the reason why they refused to negotiate a compromise with Democrats is because they wanted this and they completely own this, regardless of their lies.
