Having had a pep talk from my pal, Marc Pilley (Arksong/Hobotalk) in our weekly meet up today, I will be working on a cello part for my next recording. A bit outside my comfort zone but it has to be done (and ready for next Tuesday!) I love a challenge...

Went to a fascinating talk by @sarasheridan at Muirhouse Library last night, having recently read The Secrets of Blythwood Square. Entertaining and informative as was her 5 part series on BBC Sounds, Robert Burns - His Psychotherapy and Cure. Brilliantly narrated by Elaine C. Smith :)

At art college in the late 90's I found out about this man and wrote about him in my final year. Now I've just been reminded of the incredible work of Henry Darger, an outsider artist who went on to produce a secret world in art. Here's the link to his story. www.facebook.com/share/p/1Ae9...

Here's my news - I've been designing my new website for what feels like months but is really only three weeks and it's now up and running. Now that it's (almost) sorted it's time to get some gigs under our belts so that's the next thing on the list!!
