I started my kids (4 and 6 at the time) on peaceful mode and played with them. Once they got bored with that, switched to creative and it was a whole new game for them. This was two years ago and they still play weekly.

If anyone is curious but doesn't want to click on the link. Cabin Escape is a digital escape room style game. Set in a snowy alpine cabin, your character has left themselves clues around the cabin that help to remind yourself who you are and how to escape the cabin.
