Sky Sports finding a way to put Van Dijk and Szobozslai in their stats team because even when they're crap they can't hide their sycophancy

Dibling has to show a bit more off the bench. You've got limited minutes, you can't be looking like a kid from the academy just trying not to lose the ball

Two pretty stale teams, at least we had the excuse of missing a load of players and not getting the clearest penalty you'll ever see.

Imagine the outrage if that pen wasn't given up the other end. Doesn't get clearer.

Weren't great today, but weren't terrible either. Get some pace at the back and a proper striker and we'll be able to go toe-to-toe with teams like Chelsea

Jamie Carrragher says Virgil van Dijk is too good for the highest level of football 🥇

Being above the gobshites despite them spending £450m and having the self described best players in league history is very very sweet

Wonder how @footballweekly.bsky.social will manage to minimise the disaster of a season Liverpool are having (despite spending more than any other club has ever done in a window) this week. Probably make a joke about booing at Everton or something.

@footballcliches.bsky.social one for the catalogue of rhythmical commentary

The last thing these people want is to have any responsibility, they're much more comfortable being on the right side of history from the sidelines whilst helping no one.

A lot of YNWA lads booing a club legend tonight

@mrjamesob.bsky.social interesting conversation re the mansion tax. It's probably not feasible but it's interesting how the fairness of a policy is only an obstacle when it applies to the wealthy.

My word, the league needs a good hard look in the mirror for letting themselves win it last season.

Andrea Jenkyns not being able to read her own notes about adults not being able to read is superb.
October 20, 2025 at 10:01 PM
See Carragher is still using language like "it's not quite happening for Liverpool" when he'd go in hard on other clubs if they'd spent £500m to get worse
October 19, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Hi @mrjamesob.bsky.social I love you but I don't know why you've reposted this?

What's the insinuation? It's the police's fault?

Are they supposed to charge (not even a police decision) and remand all rape suspects just in case they attack a synagogue?

What's the relevance?
The Manchester synagogue attacker had been arrested on suspicion of rape and released on bail before the deadly attack on Thursday.

Jihad Al-Shamie, known to be a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent, was not charged with the offence.

@footballcliches.bsky.social I think this is the Brent noise you meant on the pod

That Enzo Maresca is a terrible manager, so glad Everton have a normal manager like Moyes rather than some philosophy merchant
September 20, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Everton are class. Gone to Anfield against a team that has spent £509m and needed some dubious refereeing to win them the game UTT
September 20, 2025 at 8:29 PM
The media will simply not allow Liverpool players to be deemed flops. £125m for running ffs
