Like I think back and I’m just kinda miffed because…. People complained ?????? Complained about the most ambitious content we ever received ?? And now we are just getting quarterly crumbs and ppl are just happy with that??? Am I missing something here ???

Like I can’t help but feel bad. I know they are always on the receiving end of backlash but it’s just disappointing to think we may not get content that is ambitious as caves and cliffs or with mobs and areas like the warden and ancient cities. I kinda miss being in that feature bubble of 1.17-1.20.

Like I’ve just became a lurker. I’m occasionally seeing what’s happening and then dipping. Idk. I don’t want to say that I’ve lost interest? Maybe I’ve grown out of it ? Idk we’re in the big year of 2026 and we’re just getting underwhelming stuff. Big departure from 1.19 which ppl complained about??

2D Metroid is awesome and dread is a phenomenal game I at least hope the 2D series continues. Sakamoto mentioned that there are more episodes planned. 🥺

I just hope we get Metroid 6. I know sakamoto is retirement age and could be retired already but he mentioned there are more episodes planned 😭🙏
