Hey Alejandra, ABC News is reporting two U.S. Army battalions were put on alert by the Department of Defense for a potential deployment to Minnesota. Do you have any insights?

Yup
January 15, 2026 at 2:23 AM
Fox is already trying to spin it by saying an agent was attacked with a shovel. If there's no footage, then you can guarantee that it's not true.

The right wingers on the other site are already saying that this totally exonerates him. There's no bottom to these people. I genuinely don't think there's a crime that an ice officer could commit that they wouldn't defend.

Kyle Rittenhouse is posting about it too.

She quite literally said that she doesn't support either Trump or Maduro. Reading comprehension is clearly not your strong suit.
January 4, 2026 at 12:11 AM
Why do you think I think that? I've made it very clear that I think this action was disgusting and unwarranted. At the same time I recognized that Maduro sucks and should not be labeled a hero.
January 3, 2026 at 6:37 PM
Yeah, celebrating the end of the regime that has locked her family in prison for daring to speak out means she supports American imperialism. Get your head out of your ass.
January 3, 2026 at 6:35 PM
Yeah obviously. She knows that too. But she suffered a ton under Maduro and she's very glad to see him gone. Both of those things can be true at once.
January 3, 2026 at 6:35 PM
Would you say that to my Venezuelan friend who's celebrating today but worried for the future of the country?
January 3, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Yeah, ofc
January 3, 2026 at 5:17 PM
Uncritical support? Absolutely not. Maduro is not some hero of the left in this moment. Venezuela deserves our complete support though.
January 3, 2026 at 3:51 PM
My point exactly. In fact, Trump going into Venezuela at all is a massive massive mistake and should be grounds for his removal.
January 3, 2026 at 3:47 PM
It is my problem actually, because a close friend of mine lives in Caracas and talks constantly about how she can't wait for this government to go. That does not mean the US can be the one to do that. It can't. Forced regime change never works.
January 3, 2026 at 3:45 PM
Of course Venezuela is a sovereign nation. What America did tonight was disgusting and illegal. But let's not pretend Maduro is some hero of the left.
January 3, 2026 at 3:40 PM
You're unironically defending state violence against innocent people by saying it's made up. That's the same thing Trump's defenders do to deflect from his extrajudicial killings.
January 3, 2026 at 3:33 PM
Human Rights Watch explicitly says that they don't accept funding from any government.
January 3, 2026 at 3:26 PM
Yeah no shit
January 3, 2026 at 3:20 PM
UN OHCHR, Human Rights Watch, ICC, OAS
January 3, 2026 at 3:17 PM
Obviously that's not why America did this. Trump doesn't care about extrajudicial killings, that's something he wants to do himself.
January 3, 2026 at 3:14 PM
Sanctions didn't make him do the 290 tortures and 1500+ extrajudicial killings of dissidents
January 3, 2026 at 2:59 PM
Gonna be a bigger judgement then Alex Jones got.
