The right wingers on the other site are already saying that this totally exonerates him. There's no bottom to these people. I genuinely don't think there's a crime that an ice officer could commit that they wouldn't defend.

Why do you think I think that? I've made it very clear that I think this action was disgusting and unwarranted. At the same time I recognized that Maduro sucks and should not be labeled a hero.

Yeah obviously. She knows that too. But she suffered a ton under Maduro and she's very glad to see him gone. Both of those things can be true at once.

Uncritical support? Absolutely not. Maduro is not some hero of the left in this moment. Venezuela deserves our complete support though.

It is my problem actually, because a close friend of mine lives in Caracas and talks constantly about how she can't wait for this government to go. That does not mean the US can be the one to do that. It can't. Forced regime change never works.
