And now, we are back to "we must beat fascism AT ANY COST .... except throttling back on the most radical and fringe portions of our electorate". If voters won't vote for you because They can't understand moderating your position in order to defeat a heinous movement, then they aren't your base.

It's amazing how many people have opinions on what should be written but haven't written it themselves. There are dozens of platforms where anyone can publish their own work. The only barrier is desire, effort and focus but I guess it's easier to tell someone else what to write.

I think they're still missing the point. An election cycle ago it was " no Republican runs unopposed" now it's "quit wasting money on unwinnable races" when The only thing they should be saying is "find candidates that appeal to the middle" no hybrid messaging or tricky tactics. Easy peasy.

I am all for it but it is unlikely that he would visit and if he did, would it change anything? I am convinced that he is going to believe what he wants regardless. The upside is that footage of him there without it being a 3rd world wasteland would be valuable for future use.

I can agree that alarm could and often does precede girding but I would not consider that panic and alarm are similar enough to equate the two or imply that the outcome of experiencing each is in any way similar. Panic is unreasoning and is very unlikely to result in girding in the near term.

The term "gird your loins" is actually the opposite of panic. It is meant to represent someone who is preparing themselves to face a challenge by securing their loose clothing.

They are the dumbest people in the world and it is certainly to the advantage of the rest of us. Nobody can rally support against them any better than they themselves. They are going to feel strong and empowered and it will collapse very quickly under the force of angry democracy loving Americans.

It's real simple if all the non-voters get off the benches & all of the D leaning voters man up and vote in the next election, the numbers will be so overwhelming as to be indisputable. That's not hope that's a fact. Another fact is that negative attitudes like yours makes that less and less likely.
