Hansons Auctioneers is auctioning three Harry Potter books signed and inscribed by J.K. Rowling, including one addressed to "Barbara (mother of Firenze) and Alan."
The books belonged to Alan Loddington, whose stepson, a close friend of Rowling, is believed to have inspired Firenze.

I'm not usually into fan casting, but I have to say this: Jude Law (for so many reasons, on and off-screen) would be the perfect Albus Dumbledore for the HBO Harry Potter TV show. It's probably impossible, but hey, one can dream.

In 2009, J.K. Rowling created two unique Sorting Hat illustrations as gifts for Malia and Sasha Obama, daughters of President Barack Obama. These framed artworks were presented during Sasha’s birthday visit to the Harry Potter movie set.

Just moments ago, J.K. Rowling announced that she has finished writing The Hallmarked Man, the 8th Cormoran Strike novel! There’s no release date yet, but we’re already dreaming of an announcement!
