I am gonna finish this bonus scene for the book's newsletter subscribers tonight if it kills me. Spicy scenes are the hardest for me to write. I'm like the gourmet loving foodie who can't cook when it comes to the spicy aspect of writing. It's a struggle every damn time. So ironic. #romancewriter

Time to start writing the newsletter bonus scene for Dark Encore. I'm thinking Ana & Cole on their trip to Iceland, perhaps? The stark beauty of Iceland, a romantic Nordic chalet, and... Well, you'll just have to see. 😏 #romanceauthor

Soo many packages, so many people in line behind me at the post office today. I apologized to every person who came in behind me. 🫣 The receipt went to the floor, CVS style. And with that all the pre-order books have found their homes.🖤 #romanceauthor

Packing book orders to go out in the mail tomorrow. Getting all of these mailed is a very physical reminder of just how much I have to be grateful for and how far I've come since I started this journey just under a year ago. 🎄 #romanceauthor

One of my Kidlets pointed out that my book is #17 on Amazons best seller list for Hispanic & Latino Romance! Holy shitballs people! And I can see that someone in Japan bought the e-book. How cool is that?

Debut author here, feeling a bit giddy.

Now that this, my first book, is done and in the world it's time to start working on what's next.
December 15, 2025 at 2:44 AM
I REALLY wish I had gotten pictures with everyone, but trust me when I say that I love you all so much! So many people came to support me and the book, more than I could have hoped for.

I was flying high, not gonna lie. So overwhelmed, excited, and thrilled. 😍

How? How do sum up in words how fucking AMAZING tonight was? How loved and supported I felt? How is anything I say enough to describe how grateful I am? My book launch party was more than I could have hoped for. #debutauthor

It's here! Today's the day the journey concludes. Both the paperback and the e-book version of my book are live. I'll just be over here in the corner quietly losing my mind.

Tomorrow. The e-book goes live tomorrow! Not like there will be a stampede, but still. It's a big thing to me. 😳🤯

And the next book, which will be the first in a trilogy, is banging on my door. I already have pages of notes for the series and have for months. 🫣 #debutauthor

I love how kettle dyed yarn stitches look lined up in a row. The way the colors stack and shift makes me happy. The yarn was a gift from my friend Noelle from Northern Ireland, the dyer is called IAY.

The IngramSpark ones are 1/8" thinner, and the colors on the cover are actually a litter closer to what they are on my computer screen (slightly less warm). I am so happy with how the cover I designed came out.

Truly, utterly, so excited to have gotten this all done in less than a year. 🥳
December 4, 2025 at 2:34 AM
And OMG they look fantastic! I knew going in that IngramSpark uses a thinner paper than Amazon (which I knew) and you can definitely tell. Which, honestly, I kinda like, it makes it feel and look less chonky. The paper feels silkier, but not flimsy.

THEY'RE HERE! The first three boxes anyway... the other two got delayed because of the storm and will be here tomorrow.

THERE AREN'T ENOUGH WORDS FOR HOW THIS FEELS. 🤯🥳🤩

EEEEEE! It's HERE! This is the author proof to make sure the cover looks good and the formatting and layout inside is correct. But STILL! I love how the cover I designed came out! OMG. I never, ever thought I'd be here today. Teenage me is losing her SHIT right now. 🤯 I keep shrieking. #writing

Wish us luck! We have THREE hours to card the wool, spin the yarn, and feed the yarn to our weaver to weave a complete shawl.
October 19, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Fleece to Shawl is about to start! Our theme is pirates. I'll have you know the only thing I had to buy was the hat, the head scarf, and the necklace. People keep complimenting my costume and I'm like, DUDE, these are my clothes. 😳

He is the kindest, sweetest, funniest, & smartest guy I know, is it any wonder that I decided I licked it, so it's mine?

Happy anniversary, @hunterrose.bsky.social! 19 yrs ago I married my best friend, my Nerd in Shining Minivan. It's been 21 yrs together, and 29 yrs since our first kiss.

I love you, Husbeast, and I hope you're the end of my story. 💗

She did not, in fact, have enough yarn left to finish.

I had to dip into the second ball to, get this, finish 1.25 rows and the bind-off. 🤬

I did, however, end up with a beautiful pair of warm socks. I stayed up late, wove in my ends, and called it a win regardless. #knitting

Yarn chicken, baby! 9 rows to go. Will I make it? We shall see. Also, I have discovered I can read and knit at the same time, just like with spinning at my wheel. Woo! Yes, I'm easily amused.

(I have a whole other ball, but I'll be pissed if I have to hit it for just 2 rows or whatever.) #knitting

I had to drive over (like passing over) this little dude just a few houses down from ours, but turned around and raced back to save him because our road is a race course. The odds he wouldn't get flattened were slim. I'm thrilled I got to save a turtle this year. They make my heart happy.
