What Donald Trump said about the Somali community is not only disrespectful, it’s dangerous. As a proud Somali and someone who deeply loves my community, hearing a former president speak about us with such hate and dehumanizing language is beyond frustrating.

Seeing what’s happening across the country right now really hits me. The corruption from our president and much of his staff is just… staggering. It makes me even more grateful to live in a city like Boston, where I feel the community, care, and integrity every day.
