It’s about time our elected leaders fight for the people who elected them — not special interests or billionaires.

You shouldn’t have to go into debt because you got sick and couldn’t afford health care.

I wouldn’t be here today without all of you stepping up and supporting this campaign. Thank you for your support.

Two years after Hamas’ brutal attack on October 7th, we must continue working to release the hostages held by Hamas and end the death and destruction in Gaza. We pray for peace, for all who have suffered in Israel and in Gaza, and for an end to this war.

And more than 90% of our contributions are $100 or less.

To everyone who's pitched in so far: thank you. We'll do this together.

Our country faces troubling times. We need leaders in Washington who know how to fix the problems that really matter to people.

I’ve had enough of DC policies and partisanship that end up making things downright hard for everyday people. That’s why I stepped up to run for the U.S. Senate.

DC politicians are more interested in helping billionaires get richer while North Carolinians struggle to stay afloat. We need to focus on the hardworking folks who need a hand; the elites are doing just fine.

DC Republicans claim to care about the middle class while they’re cutting their health care and raising prices. In North Carolina, we expanded Medicaid and got health care to more than 675,000 of our friends and neighbors.

Actions speak louder than words.

The middle class feels like a distant dream for too many Americans. Many in the middle class are barely hanging on to it.

We need a Senator who will focus on making life more affordable and opportunities more accessible right here in North Carolina.

I’ve spent my career right here in our state building consensus to make life better for North Carolinians. Too many people like my opponent who have spent their careers in DC can’t say the same.

Dysfunction in DC doesn’t stay in DC. When the Washington establishment neglects its most important duties, everyday families feel the pain.

You wouldn’t send an arsonist to put out a house fire. Why would NC send a DC insider to fix Washington’s problems?

Rent, gas, electricity, health care, groceries, the list goes on.

Family bills are too expensive. We need leaders who will fight to lower costs and make life more affordable.

Growing up in Nash County, my parents, teachers, preachers and neighbors taught me about the meaning of integrity, hard work and looking out for each other.

Those values make us North Carolinians, and those values led me to my public service.

I think our country has had enough of the bickering and squabbling in D.C. at the expense of working families. I’ve spent my career always standing up for North Carolina. That’s exactly what I’ll take with me to the Senate.

Gmar Chatima Tova to those observing Yom Kippur. I wish you an easy fast and meaningful day of reflection and prayer.

North Carolina families need a Senator who’s going to stick up for them, not for Big Oil or the special interests of the day.

I am ready to do the hard work fixing what’s broken in Washington and upholding the laws and values that are at the core of what America stands for.

The best way to save money on health care is to keep people healthy. That's why we expanded Medicaid to 675,000 North Carolinians.

But Washington's health care cuts mean that hardworking families will struggle to stay afloat and take care of their loved ones.

It has been 365 days since Hurricane Helene hit our mountains, destroying roads, flooding businesses and homes and tragically taking the lives of 108 North Carolinians.

Today, in spite of a broken Washington, communities are stepping up and supporting each other as they rebuild.
roycoopernc.bsky.social
I am no stranger to tough fights. I have won hard races before and will do it again with the help of North Carolinians stepping up and fighting for a better future.

You most likely know someone — whether it’s your neighbor, teacher or friend — who could lose their health care thanks to extreme Republican Medicaid cuts.

Everyone needs and deserves health care. DC Republicans want to take it away to give tax breaks to their wealthy friends.

They're going to do whatever they can to keep us from flipping this seat. Politico even said this might be the first billion-dollar Senate race. That's absurd.

But we fight back with grassroots support, so help us out before our big fundraising deadline: secure.actblue.com/donate/roy_c...
I just donated to help Democrat Roy Cooper FLIP the U.S. Senate! Will you join us and chip in?

I joined @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com last night to discuss a simple fact: it's hard to rebuild in the mountains after a hurricane, but it shouldn't be hard for the federal government to cut the checks.

Michael Whatley has failed Western North Carolina.

I am ready to do everything in my power to make this country better — for all of us.
