And now that the scale of this trolling operation is clear, it’s even funnier. It’s not just Trump tweeting at 3 AM, it’s the entire administration doing a coordinated troll!

I hate to say it, but the era of moderation in rhetoric about political opponents ended quite some time ago. Not very many Republicans are interested in hearing about how Ms. Leavitt’s rhetoric is shameful when Jay Jones is still running for Virginia AG with the full support of the Democrats.

I don’t think anybody is saying those things in those exact words, because that would sound really bad. OTOH, I think his quoted are accurate paraphases of arguments that some people are making, just with a lot more words to obscure just how bad their arguments are.
