A campaign making or not making decisions based on polls and the resultant effects is an indictment of the campaign, not of the efficacy of polls.

This has been an ongoing issue since basically the beginning of the internet. It was sexual harassment then, women were just told to quick whining. It’s now become mainstream bc a major platform is incorporating it as a feature, when historically this behavior has been niche.
