ive heard good things about the podcast Know Your Enemy for these purposes too! i have yet to try em myself but the buddy who recommended them said they were good at being Informative about the people we're up against rather than Smarmy, like There's Your Problem and adjacent podcasts

so much clicks into place when you start to understand how much the nuclear family and the authority structures within it are deeply artificial caricatures of gendered labor division. but even bigger: how many of these caricatures are post wwi constructions, not "tradition"

i can think of several post wwii pop songs that really encapsulate the obsession with incest that the Chaste Patriarchal Nuclear Family was always designed for, with the intention of erasing the word "incest" from the lexicon altogether so that men cant be held accountable. this one is UP there

WINDOWS

A price is quoted on “Windows.” Is that the final cost, or must a lot of extras be added to get their true cost; labor for assembling knocked-down parts, weather stripping, paint and more labor, and so on? Many builders are saving money by knowing the truth. Only the cost of setting Aluminum windows need usually be added to the figure quoted. Price differentials are, therefore, often equalized when costs are compared on a completely installed basis. With Aluminum windows, less maintenance is required. Because Aluminum is so resistant to weather, they retain their attractive appearance without the frequent painting and repainting required by other windows; they never warp, swell, rust or rot. Property owners are spared much of the upkeep expense ordinarily expected. Aluminum windows are fabricated from extruded shapes like those shown on this page. right!! and even if it didnt explode from infights at the very end it was still doomed because SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES ARENT A PROFITABLE BUSINESS MODEL, and nothing is allowed to exist unless it CAN turn a profit. turns out websites are a lot like trains: more of a public good than a moneymaker
