The show will still be available to watch on countless of other platforms. These right-wing station owners will lose millions of dollars by not showing the return of Kimmel. The number of stations that won't carry the show is small, anyways.

The Upper Guadalupe River Authority (UGRA) commissioned a $50,000 engineering study in 2016. In mid 2017 they recommended a comprehensive monitoring system with real time stream gauges, water rise sensors and large outdoor sirens! FEMA under Trump in late 2017 denied it.

The science community warned months ago this would happen. But this is Texas, the land of stubborn bullheadedness. Even if there was ample warning, many would have ignored it. People here don't like the government telling them what to do.
