I reminisce on what happened this summer, "A lot happened... I had to care for 2 old horses and manage my mother's garden while she was away for 3 months. Meanwhile, there was a shooting at my work, I was involved in a civil suit, and a litigant with an Order of Protection granted against them,...tracked down where I lived." Here's a classic meme of a group of people trying to kill each other while I turn my head towards the commotion, and then turn back to face the camera while a nuke flies into the crowd, exploding them upon impact, while I continue to state, "And that doesn't include all the public and economical crap that happened this year!" Here, I pull on a rope and a banner flips down showing the new Debut Date will be Fall 2026, as I state, "So, I'm gonna push back the debut date of Chapter 1 to 2026. I will upload something for Halloween this year. The manga will come next year." I then smile, holding up a large heart that says "Thank You!" As I express my gratitude to people, saying, "I do want to thank everyone for your patience and kindness during my comic-making journey. The encouragement and love did help me through some scary situations this summer and I will repay that support as I continue to make more art and comics for you all!"

There's been a Change of Plans, everyone! I'm gonna delay my manga's debut date to Fall of 2026. Here's a short comic explaining a bit of why this summer wasn't ideal for me, and that I'll put up a small artwork for Halloween instead. Thank you everyone for your patience and kindness! ❤️🌟
Here's the title page of my short comic titled "Change of Plans", with myself looking angry and clicking a marker back into its cap with marked out calendar pages in the background. I take off the plaid headband I had on for cleaning to hold my hair back while declaring, "Ok, I'm just gonna rip the bandaid right off!............ I have to push back the debut date." I then take off the cleaning apron while angrily stating, "I'm not happy about it. This past summer wasn't ideal!" I grumpily crossed my arms while pouting, "But, I needed to delay the date."

I definitely trust these two with my life. Even if one of them would end up getting me in trouble a lot while the other would be apathetic about my existence 😆😅
My two main OC's that I would trust with my life. The male to the right is wearing a shirt that says "Careful, I bite..." And you see 8 eyes on the shirt similar to that of a spider. The girl to the left is just wearing a basic white shirt with a colored stripe going across the shirt. This isn't much of a WIP for Wednesday, but I did finish reading this book. Overall, I liked it, and I think I'll be able to apply the tips it offers to my own art and work I do. It'll just take some practice 😄

The book is called Deep Work by Cal Newport. It talks about finding focus in a distracted world and the benefit of utilizing deep work without distractions.

It's Wednesday again, and here's my WIP 😁. This is an older pic, but I did a lot of research trying to figure out what a cast iron window release lever would look like, and this is the design I settled on 😅. Also, here's something I won at work 🥰

Here's a drawing on my comic page of a cast iron window release latch that I was struggling to draw. Right now, ngl, it kinda looks like a lever an old fashion toilet would have 😂 3Dprinted pumpkin and black cat sitting in the pumpkin. I'll need to do a little painting on the pumpkin eyes but this is super cute, I had to share it.

It's Wednesday but I don't have any WIPs to share. However, I can at least share this, as a small reminder to take some time to sit and breath, despite what's happening around us.🫂🥰 Happy Wednesday everyone!
A sticker I put on my calendar that says, "Breathe in, Breathe Out". It's so easy to become overwhelmed with everything in our lives, that it can feel like we're suffocating. So, a small reminder that I stuck on my calendar, was to remember to breathe.

It's WIP Wednesday and I got 1 progress shot, and 1 cute photo to share! I've got a panel fully inked....and over 100+ panels left to ink 😅

This guy has many hobbies over the years, but his current hobbies he focuses on in the story are gardening, weaving textiles/clothes, and restoration work of ancient historical texts.
Here's a picture of my main OC looking excited at what he's stumbled upon, with a bunch of leaves falling out of his hair.

It's Wip Wednesday, and I admit, I forgot to post a WIP last week 😅😆 But, here's a sketch and a random manga panel from my chapter. It's funny, putting these two side by side, it looks like my OC is in shock seeing what he looks like if he lost all his hair 🤣

A sketch I am doing of my main OC. I haven't drawn his hair on yet, but a good rule to remember when drawing hair is know where the skull of the character is first, then draw on the hair 😉 A random manga panel from my first Chapter. Ngl, the two challenges I had with this pose was drawing a shocked face AND drawing the hand to make it look like it's cupping around the mouth 😅

I use traditional & digital with my manga. I do traditional first because I have some perfectionism and traditional mediums help me keep changes to a minimum. I then use Clip Studio Paint for toning my pages. I will share my pages once a full chapter is done. I don't like showing page by page 😅
Here's a page from chapter 1 of my manga. I typically draw with a photo blue lead pencil and then will ink over the pages with Pilot ink. After that, I will scan the page to add tone and clean up some rough areas using Clip Studio Paint 4.0

A handmade birthday card with a drawing of a rabbit on it. It's not finished yet but I plan on using watercolors and then I'll send this to my brother. A double page spread of my current spot in my manga chapter. Just thinking of all the details I'll have to draw in to really give a sense of atmosphere for the danger in this part, will take me a bit of time 😅

I already had that planned out... But I doubt I'll ever get to the "second comic" portion, since I'm struggling to get the first one done 🤣. But if I finish my first comic, I would definitely make another comic focusing on this girl.
