Hello Bluesky! I’m Ryan and I do oil paintings, mostly for Magic: the Gathering and occasionally for myself

Two of my originals are looking for new homes:
Linden, the Steadfast Queen 18"x24" oil on canvas
Kenrith Family Portrait 30"x40" oil on canvas
There is no current price in mind, and I would be happy to forward any offers to the current owner of the paintings. #mtgart #mtg

I love painting faces and was really looking forward to all the cool creatures of Lorwyn since the first one was before my time. But I guess someone has to paint a horrific creature with the absence of a face. 🤷‍♂️
Painting of an elemental incarnation called Emptiness, a giant faceless skeletal creature, trailing smoke and walking through a swamp

I genuinely do not understand why art schools offer classes in AI. After like 15 minutes learning how it works, do you really need a whole semester to learn how to hand your brain over to a machine?

Thanks Alex! I thought it would be a retirement plan too, but I’m trying to make it a late-mid-career course change :)
