Day-Doodle: Alien Attitude | A personal "finish the sketching, inking, and coloring in under twelve hours" challenge. Goal was to keep it simple and as clean as possible, but not to worry too much about perfecting it. Just get it done. Turns out I forgot her tail and rushed before the time ran out.
Edited with GIMP, poisoned with Glaze. A fluffy dark grey anthropomorphic alien with a yellow mane and curled fluff at the end of her tufted tail. She wrinkles her nose and bares her teeth in a snarl at someone just behind the viewer's perspective and tugs down the front of the plush neckline fabric of her top to reveal two necklaces. Her opposite hand is clenched and raised as if preparing to potentially throw hands. The reason is unstated and not shown, but honestly this is just pettiness between one and an unseen party that will result in nothing significant despite all the bluster.

A white and grey furred anthropomorphic alien with polished blue horns, claws, and dyed mane and tail, has a foot braced against a transparent and fading anchor. It's the one physical support she has lifting her out of reach of three different flood infection forms that have their tendrils extended towards her. Tentacles from the Gravemind spill from the edges and corners of the bottom of the image towards her as well, but one holds a human femur in its grasp. Her tail curls tightly for balance and to stay out of reach. Light blue and light purple lightning flashes behind her in the top left corner, a green and gold spear with two thick white stripes and seven thinner white stripes is angled just behind her right hand. Not quite in grasp, but close, filling in the space where the anchor fails to appear. A gold Spartan shield falls below her left hand, and below that are three arrows, and one metal gold star. One arrow is grey, another gold, another green, with blue feather fletching and hold arrowheads. This piece is pure self indulgence- as is the whole concept- but Halo is absolutely my favorite universe and I love sticking my silly alien people into it and imagining where that could go. It's really helped me explore themes of earned and proven trust, friendship, the effects of trauma, interplanetary relationships, and most certainly much much more.

Stained Glass, No Cathedral | Practice that got away from me! I'll go back again and add in grey stone walls, but I was so pleased with her hands I couldn't help but share early. What do you feel when you see this, as is? I'm very curious!

My Original Character, do not use without permission.
In front of a purple, orange, red, green, and blue stained glass fixture, there is a person with black hair and pale green eyes staring directly at the viewer. There is little to discern from their expression other than an open mouthed smile baring some teeth, though they may be speaking to the viewer, given the jewels held and spilled from their right palm, and their left pointing towards them. Possibly accusing, but without heat. They're dressed in a form fitting body suit that is a light purple from neck to thigh, with orange yellow accents at their tunic sleeves and on round armor plating over their thighs. The armor and other equipment is held in place by a harness of brown leather straps that is largely obscured by a green cloth that covers only their front and their back, exposing their sides, and is only locked in place by a waist wrap of orange-yellow fabric with red tinges. Their neck has a thick golden collar with a light blue jewel in the center. The stained glass behind them is supposed to contain two techniques, glass fusion and copper foil stained glass. If I'd done things a little differently I might have tried to include some signs of the two big rounds at their elbow as being blown glass, because that would be fun, but.. impractical for a window/wall piece. The signature at the bottom says R. Quasarian. That's me!

Delicate Nature | California Poppy, Prairie Lupine, Roses, Rosemary, White Chrysanthemums, and a tiny Phidippus Audax perched upon her finger. Dakota's nature reflected in flowers, her future handled lightly.

A woman stands hip deep in flowers, gazing at the viewer from over the shoulder. Comfortable and relaxed, and perhaps a little knowing, she smiles closed lip at the viewer. The flowers falling and surrounding her represent aspects of her nature, her future, and a relationship with someone important to her. She wears a plush purple ribbed turtleneck without sleeves over a pink button up with rolled up sleeves, light grey pants fastened by one secure pink belt and decorated with a loose blue and white one, mostly obscured by flowers. The flowers at her hips are California Poppy, Prairie Lupine, Pink and Yellow Roses, and framed with long sprigs of Rosemary. Some roses are still buds waiting to bloom, others are fully bloomed. Yellow roses frame her at elbow level, rosemary sprigs frame her at shoulder level, pink roses at eye level, and light purple roses with larger chrysanthemums almost crown her head. A small orange jumping spider is perched on the tip of her right ring finger and reaching out to gently climb onto her extended pink. There is no stress or fear about it. The Phidippus Audax is welcome and accepted, and likewise feels safe enough to play instead of run, hide, or bite. The little one is tiny though, so she's basically a squiggle with color. The spider is a representation of the simultaneous presence of danger and lack of danger that comes with a bond she has with someone else, and her future. Vagueness is intended here. There are no butterflies in this image. The signature at the bottom says R.Quasarian. That's me!

TBD. Like my previous artwork, Quetzal as a character is both older than my signature and dearly loved. This piece is- if I remember right- possibly around four to five years old? They're an original character without any fandom attached, though most certainly inspired by my heritage.
Floating against a blank background is a hooded figure with tanned skin and pale green eyes behind a magenta visor, clad in silver-blues, with a scaled and feathered serpent-like tail of light yellows and greens. Vibrant multicolored patterns trail up and down their middle and their arms, bright pink diamonds and ovals contrasted by tiny light yellow triangles against a light blue background. The figure's legs are protected by plate armor and a flexible wrap of metal scales on the back of their thighs, as well as around their boots. Very odd boots. Hooflike and spiked in such a way as to not allow the wearer to rest their heels on the ground comfortably. In the upper left corner is the color palette and some tested colors.

TBD. This is an older work that I posted once elsewhere before the AI madness. Don't mind my silly squiggle of a digital signature, promise I've got a slightly more professional one! This existed long before I started signing my works. NADIR, my beloved original character + One special guy!
NADIR, a cybernetic organism from another world, but which? Spikes and blades adorn them from the tip of their nose to the tip of their tail. Primarily dark grey and black with accents of pinkish reds and orange-yellows. Scales and plates of unknown composition coat their body, with organic components unusually bare despite the armor. A helping hand passes NADIR a wrench that- realistically- is far taller than me. This friendly limb is bright red and light silver, with comparatively rounded and blunt fingers compared to NADIR's claws and sort-of-hooves. If you guess the franchise NADIR is from, cookie for you! Shouldn't be difficult, but NADIR is breaking some canon design "rules", but it's for fun you see!
