I think we all have different responses to food. To me, sourdough is completely tasteless and cannot compete with the flavour of yeast-raised bread. But then, to me coriander tastes of soap.

It's so safe in my part of London that two sourdough bakeries opened in neighbouring streets just before Christmas and they're both doing well.

A good film, and I will always pay good money to see Jessie Buckley at work. But too long. A tighter edit would have made good superb.

I agree. That subtle le Carré magic has been replaced by crass obviousness. I stuck it for two episodes then gave up. Such a shame.

Yes, listened to his piece on the world situation on Today this morning. As you say, outstanding. One of the last survivors of a BBC that valued clarity above all.
