I'm losing that part of me, instilled by my parents, that always kept me from wishing unpleasantness upon a person.
Not particularly happy about that.

It makes me feel dirty when Rand Paul sounds like a rational human being.

I liked it better when we were embarrassed by our own stupidity.

Daily I think about this.

It makes more sense when you assume that they have no rationale, none that's logical at least, for anything. Their stupidity isn't surprising that way. More like expected.

Linden Ave. in Carpenteria?

Look out, Eric's coming.
Those Trumps are intimidating fellows.

He threw his tantrum and now Europe called him on it.
Americans forget that Europeans survived Nazi invasion and occupation. It's foolish to think that they will prostrate themselves before Trump and not seek other options.

We're leaving the rest of the world no reason to engage with us. I don't think our future success is achieved through partnering with N. Korea, Russia,etc...

...it's so fricken annoying that somehow the stupidest people in America got over on us...i'm tired of stupid...and all it's devotees....

People rarely realize that what we think of as particularly American didn't exist before The New Deal.
No Worker's rights or protections. No child labor laws. No safety net whatsoever. Rich people, or nobles, did whatever they wanted to do. Unions were instrumental in changing that.

Lower center of gravity with a power supply that requires less energy to keep running.
Easier to keep one's back damage free too.

Paying taxes is part of societal living. The social contract and all that. Railing against the existence of the tax system while simultaneously benefiting from it is particularly low-down and dirty. Tough to be civilized with those people bellyaching all the time.

Everything in Trump's world is transactional. Making a buck is all that counts for success, even if the only profit made is from stiffing vendors or employees. In Trump world that's a win no matter that the business fails. That's why he considers his many grifts successes.

How can somebody who doesn't recognize their own inefficiencies, like firing and re-hiring needed employees or posting inaccurate data, be best suited for this task?
A real genius recognizes their own shortcomings and learns from mistakes.

As impossible as it seems I think Mike Johnson beats Trump for largest pile of spineless, quivering, rat-faced fleshturd alive.
March 6, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Trump drained the D.C. swamp down to Florida it seems. Does that count as fulfilling a campaign promise?

It's reassuring to know there's adults making decisions somewhere out there. Seems like it's gonna be a bit before we get close to the same trajectory.

Free money is rich people heroin. They don't turn it down and they don't give it away. They think they deserve it so it's not welfare. I'm coming to admire the French more and more.

America's friendship is for sale unless you say mean things about Putin.

Very cool looking BLUE.

Well done.

It has been extremely disappointing seeing people so gleeful watching others suffer. Decent people don't act like that. But I guess that's the point.

Maybe the GOP is a more inclusive group than I thought. Being a sexual predator seems to be a big plus.
