With apologies for using AI, I think this cartoon reflects what Naperville's decision to re-up their IMEA contract will do.

Let the City Council know that we should not renew our coal-dominant IMEA contract. It's time for a renewable energy future: [email protected]

To be clear, our entire planetary system is telling Naperville to say no to coal.
As Naperville weighs the future of its electric supply, a group of environmental and civic organizations are teaming up to tell city leaders to “Say No To Coal” — and they’re urging community members to back the sentiment.

More public green space is wonderful as is better public transit, which MUST include a new Pink Line station. But let’s also include plans for native plantings to support biodiversity and renewable energy sources to fight climate change. Build the future!

#Naperville gets ~80% of its power from climate-destroying, coal-fired electricity supplied by #IMEA. The City Council is now considering a 30-year extension to its IMEA contract. We cannot let City Hall abet planetary destruction. Tell the Council to say NO to IMEA: [email protected]

We know Donald Trump will betray his promise to working people. He’s done it before and he’ll do it again.

Democrats are the ones fighting for working people against the billionaires trying to rig this country.

It’s our job to make sure voters hear this message everywhere.
