RSF Nepal Correspondent Binod Dhungel said that media houses should be responsible for the safety of journalists. "The main responsibility of keeping journalists safe when they go for reporting lies with the media house. They must provide them with knowledge, skills, and necessary materials".

The GON must back off from criminalising criticism, dissent and differences. On the morality part, society, through constant negotiation, decides for itself what its moral standards are. The govt has no business dictating what they should be #socialmedia #Nepal
