There’s a looooooong history of legacy media casually yoinking scoops/ideas without credit, sometimes veering into straight plagiarism, and @marisakabas.bsky.social is right to call it out. It’s fucking bullshit, it’s disrespectful, & it cuts directly into the livelihood of independent journalists.
