Addendum: I don’t know if he conceded to end the debate or if he saw my POV. He gave the excuse that he’s old fashioned (he’s my age). But I told him we have to be better at raising boys, not policing girls. Most importantly this happened with my daughter present. She needed to know I had her back.

I told him female soccer kits, even “girl cut,” are often uncomfortable and girls often adjust for comfort on the field. I told him girls should not be forced to change their fashion because boys are uncomfortable. We should teach boys not to be creepy. He seemed to concede my points. 2/2

This weekend a soccer referee tried telling me he would ban female players from rolling up their shorts because it made male players uncomfortable (including his sons). I jumped his shit and said “men should never police female athlete’s clothing and this is not negotiable or debatable.”

I don’t know, “18 year old ex wife” adds an additional level of horror to it. That somehow this girl was forced to marry the scumbag (no way this was consensual) and somehow managed to get a divorce, and was then hunted by him.

We’re going to have to decide if it’s worth it for someone to get a sweetheart deal, because someone knows LOTS of names and locations of bodies, and do we want to see one guilty guy walk while 100 go to prison?
