We still haven’t landed in nifty Twitter handles for them. PJM is the name of a very popular Korean boy band. ISONE is the name or a Jihadist rebel group fighting Kurds in Syria, SPP is the name of the Slovakian national gas grid operator and also the name of a niche video game. How do we stand out?

It’s less messy than it sounds. It’s typically 8-12 members of parties you know. That’ll contain two members of a bigger party sometimes. Then you’ll typically have 5-10 independents (or in this case more), more than half of whom are ex-members of big establishment parties.

Yeah they don’t need anything new. We’re looking at this problem from a U.S. perspective where demand is growing and mega coal plants are being retired. In Europe we just need to keep the CCGTs and the new-build OCGTs and whatever legacy old peakers we have from closing.

European capacity markets are pretty generous. Problem really is that renewables nukes and hydro make up such a large share of mix that clean spark and clean dark spreads (peak, offpeak, atc) are all deeply out of the money negative for even high efficiency CCGTs.

I don’t know. I’ve no strong opinions nor do I have any authority to comment on what is good or bad for the people of Syria.

Will be interesting to see how this derails Russian aggression in Ukraine.

You got this all messed up.

Regulated utility:

drops cup on floor, smashing cup to pieces and spilling contents.

Buys new cup, refills cup with sh1t from the gutter. Passes the cost on to ratepayers. Uses the profits to sponsor reelection campaign for some governor who hates basic human rights.

It is shockingly easy to get a drivers licence in the US compared to Europe. Should start there.

Don’t suppose they’re also offering free Plexos licence downloads

I think you’re joking but for sake of clarity, if you have been presenting/working on slides about distributed energy, I was not making a jab at you or anyone (except ISO interns and Shell 😂)

I kinda pleasantly surprised to find the opposite NGL. I thought it was a bit of a ghost town last two weeks and now all of a sudden it’s like a legit
