Seam-Shifted Changeups are really cool, except it's a small seam (especially on some of the balls they have) so you really gotta get comfortable with being able to adjust where the seams are relative to finger (on the fly) to keep it working day in and day out.

I will absolutely be doing this if I’m AB and this happens because the pitcher doesn’t want to balk and the catcher tries to grab the ball before the runners steal.

It’s really interesting how similar their mechanics are, likely because they were taught to replicate specific mechanics to replicate perfectly. It won’t work for everyone, but since they’re both super mobile and similar body proportions, it should apply. Interesting strategy from Japan tho.

I’m transgender, and it’s just a really difficult decision with no good solution; you can’t exclude trans people from playing with their cis counterparts because that makes them extremely excluded you can’t always include them because then it creates a physical “edge” problem (1/3)
