If your jurisdiction has a lower limit and you want to fix it, get in touch and I can tell you the process – it is a very doable reform with big cost savings for mid-rise buildings. AFAIK, the jurisdictions that modify are Massachusetts, parts of Nevada and Southern California, and Chicago

At the arraignment, Tish James's counsel said that her motion does not ask the judge to make a finding as to whether Halligan engaged in wrongdoing.
As such, the judge does not opine on the matter—but he does note that her communications with me were "unusual."
